The Day Hospital was created within an existing building which was originally designed for apartments and offices. It presented complex challenges such as ceiling height restrictions particularly critical for the Operating Room. The ambulance access was a challenge due to the small size of the existing lift, which was overcome by fire engineering.
Overall the new clinic fitout was a success in regards to the accreditation by the Department of Health and the approval by the local Council. The quality of the design with simple but elegant features achieved a pleasant environment for staff and patients. The work flow is efficient in spite of the constraints of the existing site. The construction was completed within budget and before the anticipated completion time.
“I have worked with Space for Health on two projects so far. In both instances, I have found Jean-Michel, General Manager, and his team valuable business partners. The keys were handed to us 3 days ahead of schedule. First class, professional and pleasant to deal with.”
