Our firm was engaged to design and deliver the new fitout for the successful imaging operator at Peninsula Private Hospital by Ramsay. The fitout included CT Rooms, Ultrasounds, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Densitometry,  Dental Imaging and OPG and MRI. A State of the art facility with a local focus on the community, the imaging clinic was built in line with the innovation and patient centric care model developed by Ramsay.

We have been very pleased with the medical suite design-build that Space For Health supervised for us.

The design has been mentioned positively by many of our patients who see doctors on a regular basis. They feel it is a pleasant environment and makes it a lot more relaxing visit than would otherwise be the case.

The radiation shielding which is necessary for the nuclear medicine suite was all integrated into the design so that it is a safe environment for our patients and staff but without altering the design features.

I have now worked with Space For Health on two separate projects: one to set up consulting rooms and a 2-theatre day surgery, the other to develop a medical Centre and a 4 theatre hospital.

Late night inspection of a building site? No problem. 7th change to the concept lan? No problem. Dealing with a difficult council? No problem. Deadlines? No problem. The rooms and day surgery were concept designed, certified and fitted out within 4 months. The keys were handed to us 3 days ahead of schedule and the project manager totally restored my faith in the building/Fitout industry. First class, professional and pleasant to deal with.

They charge reasonable rates and I have found that a lot of small extras are not even being invoiced. I have two more projects planned and fully intend to use Space For Health on these as well.

Working closely with the head office team, Space For Health spent 12 months in the early stages in developing a strong design concept. The result was an architectural manual design and development to the standardisation of the design, finishes, and fitout which is used throughout every project to ensure consistency across all sites, no matter the location, size, scope of works or tenancy.

Space For Health’s feasibility work and project management included site assessment and recommendations, centralised procurement, as well as liaising with landlord and regulatory authorities for approvals in both regional and CBD Areas of Australia.

The scope of design and fitout of the imaging clinics including both new and live operating environments. For example, the 6-Stage Refurbishment at I-MED in Mt Isa Hospital required one X-Ray RM and CT RM operational at all times whilst we fit out the new imaging facilities. We are experienced in working with challenging circumstances in the fitout stage.
