Site feasibility
Conducting an extensive and comprehensive site feasibility study is a crucial step for a new build. The real estate market is complex, and so are the legal requirements of developing a project from scratch. In our 27+ years of experience, We’ve developed a thorough understanding of the requirements, limitations and incentives for building in different areas in every state, nationwide.
It’s vital to find a site that won’t disrupt any existing infrastructure, and that won’t require massive investment in order to meet compliance. We also go the extra mile to understand potential locations – assessing the market and the demographics that exist there to help your business succeed.
Once we’ve identified a site, we’ll check every facet of it to ensure it meets the goals of your business. This encompasses everything from stormwater drainage to submitting a development application/planning permit. Cost estimation
During the feasibility assessments, we work with a quantity surveyor to assess potential sites for the new build, or area for extension, to gain an accurate picture of pricing. We go the extra mile to ensure that our cost estimation covers everything and has room for contingency. What this means is that we can help to build a business case for securing funding.
Design development
The master plan begins early in the feasibility stage, and these initial sketches help us to determine the viability of the site. This plan may undergo several changes to optimise design. When the site and budgeting is approved, the design development stage begins. Construction and project management
With an experienced construction manager and qualified builders, your new space will be erected on brief and on time. We don’t cut corners and ensure that everything is built according to specifications and meets the compliance standards of the Australian Building Code. Space For Health provides a project manager at the beginning of the process which is your point person for the entire duration of the project. This means you’ll have one contact, who can accurately report on the progress and development from the first meeting through to the final handover.
